Unit Plan: The
purpose of this unit is to help students:

Develop a career plan. Think about
what they want to do and find out more about it.

Assess their skills and interests.
Think hard about what they enjoy, and what abilities they have.

Research occupations. Find out more
about the nature of the jobs that interest them, such as
educational requirements, salary, working conditions, future outlook, and
anything else that can help them narrow their focus. Compare their skills
and interests with the occupations they have selected.

Choose career goals and develop a plan
to reach their career goals.

Develop written and oral skills pertaining
to the employment process.
