Steps for implementation:
Students


Take the needs assessment survey.
Read AR books and take AR tests. 
Access and use Starfall in class as well as in the 
      computer lab.
Access Headsprout in the class as well as in the 
      computer lab.
Create Thinking Maps that your teacher assigns 
      using the software in the computer lab as well as 
      in the classroom. 
After completing lessons with the technology 
      facilitator evaluate the credibility of websites and 
      their information.  Use only the website 
      pre-selected by the facilitator.  After the 
      completion of lessons on criteria for evaluating 
      software, evaluate the software given to you for 
      review.
Third and Fourth grade students will access 
      computers for research purposes during both lab 
      time and class time.
Third and Fourth grade students will use 
      Blackboard to communicate research 
      information. 
      This is to be done during designated class time
      and at home.
Log your computer use time on the log provided 
      by your teacher.
