STAR Tech Incentives:

Teachers will earn STAR  incentives for the completion of professional technology development.
Here is how it works:

A STAR  bulletin board will be used to show teacher improvement.  Teachers names will be displayed on the bulletin board.  Teachers will earn 1 star for every 3 hours of technology training received.  Teachers will also be able to receive 2 stars for each 1 hour of faculty development that he/she presents.  The stars will be placed under the teachers' names.  Teachers will be able to see their progress in comparison to other teachers.

In January and May teachers will be able to "cash" their stars in for needed/wanted technology related items.  Items will be available through the technology facilitator.  The technology facilitator will assign the value of each item prior to school beginning.  This will help teachers  know how many STARs they need to earn in order to receive the items that they desire.
