Steps for implementation:
Administrator


Read the technology plan.
Take the Administrators Assessment Survey
Encourage teachers and technology facilitator in 
      their endeavors to improve technology usage at 
      AES.
Check teacher lesson plans and observe 
      classrooms to ensure that teachers are 
      implementing technology into daily lessons.
Use e-mail to communicate with faculty, parents 
      and district level staff.
Ensure that office staff is trained and utilizes 
      voice messaging services.
Allocate money for AR books and test.
Allocate money for teacher stipends and 
      substitute pay so that teachers can attend 
      workshops.
Allocate money for professional memberships.
Periodically check to ensure that teachers' 
      webpages are being updated.
Help form a technology team which will include 
      the administrator, technology facilitator, one 
      teacher from each ability group, at least one 
      parent, and a community partner.
Check to make certain that teachers attend and 
      complete TangiTech 1 and TangiTech 2.
Seek guidance from Region II and district level 
      staff as needed.
Form partnerships with other school with in the 
      district, other districts and SLU.
Attend LEADTech and other administrative 
      workshops.
Form partnerships with local businesses and keep 
      them informed of needs and improvements made 
      regarding technology at AES.
Ensure that all equipment is functional and that 
      AES stays up to date regarding hardware and 
      software.
Meet with faculty to review the Acceptable Use 
      Policy.
