The council has decided that the best way to make a determination is to form committees to examine possible courses of actions. You have been chosen to join one of the following committees to make a presentation to the city council at its next meeting.

 Committee #1: Your committee is made up of one city council member, a local science teacher who has served on committees for the state environmental agency, and a local citizen who does not want his taxes raised.

 Committee #2: Your committee is made of the president of the local environmental action group, the head of the local Department of Public Works, and a concerned citizen.

 Committee #3: Your committee is made up of the president of the one of the companies who would like to bid for the contract to pick up the recyclable material, a member of the local environmental action group, and a member of the Mayor's economic committee.

Your task in this Recycling web quest is to join one of the committees and chose a role within that committee. Remember that you will be working with others who may not share your viewpoints. You must work together to come up with a plan of action for the town council as they must decide whether to implement this project. You will be making a presentation at the next city council meeting that represents the viewpoint of your group as a whole.
