Module 4 Assignment Sheet An Introduction to Library Skills A Distance Learning Module

 

Your next assignment is to complete Module 4.  At the end of Module 4, you should have become familiar with basic rules for using the encyclopedia and how to find information easier.  You should also have completed a practice activity in which you identify the volume of the encyclopedia in which the desired information may be located.    

Click on the links that are provided within Module 4 to other resources which may be used as information sources.   

Module 4 should be completed  on the fourth day of class.  

 Part 1 

• Click on Module 4.   Read the information about using the encyclopedia. 
• Click on the links provided to see samples of online encyclopedias.
• Click on Activity 1 to see more information about encyclopedias. 
• Click on Activity 2 to complete a practice activity. 
• Click on Activity 3 and test your ability to correctly identify the volumes in which the desired information may be located. 

• Click on Activity 4 and complete the online quiz.
