Module 3 Assignment Sheet An Introduction to Library Skills A Distance Learning Module

 

Your next assignment is to complete Module 3.  At the end of Module 3, you should have become familiar with the three kinds of cards that may be found in the card catalog.    You should also have completed a practice activity in which you identify various cards in the card catalog.  

Module 3 should be completed  on the third day of class.  

 Part 1 

• Click on Module 3.   Read the information about the card catalog and the kinds of cards found in the card catalog. 
• Click on Activity 1 to see a picture of a card catalog
• Click on Activity 2 to see examples of title, subject, and author cards. 

• Click on Activity 3 and test your ability to correctly identify the following cards.   The correct answers are shown at the bottom of the page.
